Studio 525 welcomed Derek Lam for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2027 New York Fashion Week presentation, transforming the Chelsea space into an immersive garden inspired by the natural landscapes of New York. Under the creative direction of Robert Rodriguez, blooming flowers were projected across the studio’s expansive white walls, while wildflowers and native grasses brought an organic, tactile element into the space.
The collection explored the balance between utility and femininity through structured tailoring, sheer layers, fluid dresses, oversized pockets, and intricate textures. Against the ever-changing floral backdrop, the presentation created a dialogue between the architecture of Studio 525 and Rodriguez’s vision for a more expressive, nature-inspired chapter of Derek Lam.
